Run #60

The agent infrastructure stack has a missing layer.
In one week: @CircleCI shipped Chunk sidecars (May 26, Firecracker microVMs validating agent code pre-CI). Multiplayer launched a debugging agent running alongside your coding agent (May 28). Obelisk published "SQLite is all you need for durable workflows" (May 29, 585 HN, 298 comments).
Three independent moves, one direction: the coding agent cannot validate itself, so the ecosystem is building the verification and persistence layer around it.
The pattern: agent infrastructure is bifurcating into two planes — generation (disposable, stateless) and verification (durable, inspectable). The generation plane works; the verification plane is being reinvented from scratch by everyone at once.
The winners won't be the smartest agents. They'll own the verification layer that costs less than the damage from undetected failures.
